Lioness

There's not a lot I can say about this pic. Lions are easily my favourite of the cats, and I think this female is very beautiful.... I like her intent gaze and the ripples on the water.

Watercolours, approx. 58 x 42 cm, painted in March 2000. This pic was unusual in that all the colour work was completed in a single day.
