My third critique! I'll kick things off by saying I like the composition; it's quite effective. However, I don't feel the work is dynamic or very 3-D, which is possibly due to the fact that we only see everything from side view. Maybe showing a corner in the room, and a more three-quarter view of Zel would have enhanced the perspective?
The lighting is quite nice, particularly on the back of Zel's legs, and the outside lighting creates a really otherworldly atmosphere. I don't know if this was intentional, but it's interesting and adds to the mysteriousness of the piece.
Anatomically, I feel that Zel's profile is inaccurate, and the point where her head meets her neck, but as humans aren't really my specialty, I'm unable to pinpoint the source of my concerns. I really like her hands though; they're expressive and well-placed!
I should also mention that I really like the textures you've achieved throughout, and the little details here and there. The tally marks on the wall, the surface of the metal, the woodgrain, the cracked window pane... they all look really good.

yes! My first received critique! Thanks Donna
I agree with you completely that the image is too flat. I didn't really even notice it until it was pointed out. I will have to keep that in mind if I ever do a similar scene, not to keep everything at a side/profile view.

The neck is bugging me a bit now that I look at it, but I can't figure out what. It looked fine as the lineart drawing. I must have gotten something off when translating it into color.

The textures took a bit of work sometimes; I made myself go through with them since usually I cop out and barely do any texture at all. I'm glad it worked out here!

Thanks again for taking the time to critique this :)
