Acrylic, 38 x 51 cm. I'm really disappointed with the scan, but I don't know what I could have done to improve it. However it was nice to paint something without little characters in it! :D

Wanna know something?? I really get a sense of strength, wisdom & peace when I look at this painting..
I mean, the scene itself is very peaceful, but for the tree be providing this kind of support I can only think of its age & the strength it has... What it must have witnessed in its lifetime...
So yeah, those are my first impressions.

Otherwise, I could stare at this piece for hours... I still wish that I was able to paint like this.

Wow what a neat concept. love the coloring as usual--you did great with the composition as well.
