The rabbit is a pest species in Australia, so chocolate bilbies (the bilby is an endangered marsupial) are an oft-promoted Easter alternative to chocolate bunnies. This is a sketch for an upcoming painting- I'm still working out the numerous composition problems, so while the actual artwork won't be completed before Easter, I thought I may as well upload a sketch. I won't be using this pose, because it's not very dynamic, but I still think it's cute!

very cute! It didn't occur to me other places in the world might have chocolate animals that aren't bunnies for easter. I had to look up 'chocolate bilby'--they look quite tasty
