Rounding up humans from Earth, the monstrous aliens drove them in chains across the landscape, enslaving them for labour to restore their abandoned munitions factories. The humans later escaped, due to exploiting the crippling weakness the aliens had for stuffed parsnips.
In this painting, the aliens actually belong to two different races within the species. The trigger-happy alien on the right holds a Brain Fusion Gun, which may be conveniently abbreviated to BFG.
Man, I hate taking digital photos of my art, but it was necessary for this one, as it was too big, even to piece together in my scanner, due to the lid of the scanner being attached to the longer side of the scanner. So here we have it, like a grainy distorted version of the truth!
It look so good in the photo... I can't imagine how great this thing must look in reality! And, I also have to admit a softness for the alien holding the BFG (Which is waaaaay too similar to the Big Friendly Giant, did you ever read that book?) because it's so cute!
Thanks, in the real-life painting there are some details I painted with a 000 brush that are so small you can't see them properly unless your nose is practically poking the board! Mmmm fun, mindless detail...
thanks again, Zyleeth!
Hey Peachfuzz, thanks for the comment! The alien with the BFG does look cuter than the other one, and in the real-life painting it has a slight look of exasperation, probably because the closer alien never shuts up or something.
For the record, I haven't read that book, but I've heard of it... is it by Dahl? BFG stands for something else as well... also ending in "gun"; the BFG is one of the weapons in the DOOM games, although it looks different to this one.
Hmmm... I've never heard of the DOOM games. And, yes, the BFG is by Rauld Dahl. Honestly, I never read it either! I never read unless a teacher forces me to.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

My latest theory: There is nothing quite like blasting the Beatles while driving through town with your windows down.
Glad you liked the gun-toting alien- he's rather slim for his species!
